What Is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a treatment that relaxes your brow hairs so they sit in a uniform, polished shape. Think of it like a perm for your brows. The result is fuller looking, more defined brows that look effortlessly groomed for 4 to 6 weeks with zero daily maintenance.

Your service includes the lamination treatment, brow mapping, waxing for shaping, your choice of tint, and a conditioning serum at the end. View all our brow services on our service page.

Who Is Brow Lamination For?

Brow lamination is great if you have:

  • Unruly hairs that never sit the way you want

  • Sparse spots or thinning areas

  • Uneven brow growth

  • Brows that look great when brushed but never stay

  • A morning routine you want to simplify

  • A desire for polished brows without daily effort

It is also great for anyone who wants to give their natural brows a polished, finished look without filling them in with makeup every day.

Who It Is Not For

There are a few situations where brow lamination might not be the right choice:

  • If you have very fine or fragile brow hair (we may recommend a different service first)

  • If you have a known allergy to the products used

  • If you have very sensitive or compromised skin in the brow area

  • If you have recently had Botox, filler, or aggressive skin treatments (wait 48 to 72 hours)

If you are unsure, we offer free consultations to help you decide.

Before You Come In

To prepare for your appointment:

  • Avoid AHAs, Retin-A, chemical peels, or Botox/filler for 48 to 72 hours before

  • Come with clean brows, no makeup on them

  • Avoid waxing the brow area yourself for at least 2 weeks before

  • Bring any inspiration photos if you have a specific look in mind

What Happens at Your Appointment

Your full appointment is about 50 to 60 minutes. We start with a consultation, then cleanse the brows, apply the lamination treatment, neutralize, map your brows, wax for shape, add tint if you chose one, and finish with a conditioning serum. For a deeper look at each step, read our What to Expect at Your First Brow Wax Appointment for the general flow.

The Brow Lamination Process

Here is what each step looks like:

1. Cleanse. We gently clean your brows to remove any oils or product.

2. Lift solution. We apply a gentle perm solution that softens and reshapes the hairs. Short processing time, you just relax.

3. Neutralizer. We apply a solution that locks the new shape in place.

4. Brow mapping and waxing. We map your brows using the string method and wax to clean up the shape.

5. Tint (if chosen). Cream or hybrid tint is applied based on your preference.

6. Conditioning serum. We finish with a nourishing serum to protect and condition your brows.

Tint Options

Cream tint is included at no extra charge. Hybrid tint is available as an add on for a more filled in look. For a full breakdown of both, read our Brow Lamination vs Brow Tinting: Which One Do You Actually Need post.

How Long Does It Last?

Results last 4 to 6 weeks. As your brow hairs cycle and new hairs grow in, the lamination gradually fades. We recommend rebooking every 4 to 6 weeks for consistent results.

Aftercare in the First 24 Hours

To protect your results:

  • Do not get your brows wet for 24 hours

  • Skip active skincare like retinol, AHAs, and chemical exfoliants

  • Do not rub or touch your brows

  • Sleep on your back if possible

  • Avoid heat (saunas, steam, hot yoga)

For the full aftercare guide, read our How to Care for Your Brows After Lamination post.

Will It Damage My Brows?

Done correctly, no. We use professional grade products, time everything precisely, and finish with a conditioning serum every single time. For a deeper look at the safety question, read our The Truth About Brow Lamination and Whether It Damages Your Brows  post.

Will My Brows Look Fake?

Not when it is done right. Our goal is always polished and natural, never glued straight up or unnatural. You should still recognize your own brows when you look in the mirror, just a more polished version of them.

Is It Safe During Pregnancy?

Brow lamination is generally safe during pregnancy. Hormonal changes may affect sensitivity, but the service itself is fine for most pregnant clients. If you have concerns, we always recommend checking with your doctor first.

Can Teens Get It?

Yes. Teens can get brow lamination with a parent present and a signed consent form.

Pairing With Other Services

Many clients pair brow lamination with a lash lift for a complete eye refresh. For a complete view of our options, view our service page
