If you have been seeing permanent jewelry everywhere and wondering what it actually is, this post is for you. It is one of our most requested services and we love talking about it.
What Is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a delicate, custom fitted chain that we weld directly onto your wrist, ankle, or neck. No clasp. No closure. Just a beautiful piece you never have to take off.
You wear it every day, sleep in it, shower in it, and work out in it without ever thinking about it. No more losing your favorite bracelet or fiddling with a tiny clasp in the morning.
The Chain Options
We offer rings, bracelets, anklets, and necklaces in two metals. All of our chains are made from high quality gold filled or sterling silver, both known for their durability and longevity.
You can also personalize your piece with charms, including birthstones and initial letters. See all chain options and current pricing on our service page.
How the Process Works
Your appointment is simple and quick. You choose your chain style and metal, we fit it to you, and we weld the ends together with a small pulse of electricity. It is painless, safe, and the whole process takes just a few minutes.
Most clients are surprised by how easy it is. There is no needle, no heat, and no discomfort. Just a small flash of light and you have your forever piece.

How Long Does It Last?
With proper care, your permanent jewelry can last for years. Gold filled and sterling silver are both extremely durable and resist tarnishing.
A few simple care tips help keep it looking beautiful:
Use dish soap and a soft toothbrush to gently clean it
Polish with a soft cloth to bring back the shine
Avoid twisting or rotating it
Limit perfumes and lotions directly on the chain

Can It Get Wet?
Yes. You can shower, swim in the pool, and even wear it in the ocean. We do recommend rinsing it with fresh water after the beach to keep it looking its best.
It also will not set off airport metal detectors, so it is completely travel friendly. Take it everywhere with you without worrying.
What If You Want to Take It Off?
You can remove it anytime. Either come into the studio and we will do it for you, or use nail clippers at home. The chain is delicate enough to snip cleanly.
If you decide you want it back on later, just come in and we will reweld it. No need to start over with a new piece.
What If It Breaks?
If your piece ever snaps, just come back in. Pieces purchased from us are rewelded complimentary. We also offer adjustments for pieces purchased elsewhere for a small fee.
This is one of the reasons we love offering permanent jewelry. It is genuinely low maintenance once you have it.
Who Is Permanent Jewelry For?
Honestly, it is for anyone who wants effortless everyday style. Some of our favorite clients to fit are:
Anyone tired of losing their favorite bracelets
Friends, sisters, and moms and daughters wanting matching pieces
Clients who want a meaningful, low maintenance gift
Teens (with a parent present and a consent form)
Pregnant clients (the process is generally safe but check with your doctor if you have concerns)
If you are coming in with a friend or family member for matching pieces, read our The Best Permanent Jewelry Ideas for Friends, Couples & Self Gifts post.
