How Often Should You Get Your Brows Waxed

If you have ever wondered how often you should be booking your brow wax, you are not alone. The honest answer is every 4 to 6 weeks, but there is a little more to it. Here is everything you need to know about the right schedule for you.

The Short Answer
Most clients book a brow wax every 4 to 6 weeks. This aligns with your natural hair growth cycle and keeps your shape consistent without letting things get out of control. View all our brow services on our service page.
Why 4 to 6 Weeks?
Your brow hairs grow in cycles. After a wax, new growth starts coming in slowly. By the 4 week mark, you usually have enough new growth to need a fresh shape. By 6 weeks, the shape has noticeably softened.
Rebooking in that window gives the wax something to work with while keeping you looking polished consistently.
Signs You Are Due
Some signs it is time to book your next wax:
You are noticing stray hairs outside your shape
The clean lines of your wax have softened
You are reaching for your tweezers (resist this)
Your brows are looking less polished overall
It has been about 4 weeks since your last visit.
What If You Wait Too Long?
Waiting longer than 6 weeks is not the end of the world, but here is what tends to happen:
Stray hairs grow well beyond your shape line
Your overall shape starts to look fuzzy or undefined
It takes longer to re shape at your next appointment
You are more tempted to DIY tweeze (please do not)
If you have gone 8+ weeks, no judgment. Just book your appointment and we will get you back on track.

Can You Come More Frequently?
You can, but we typically do not recommend it. Waxing more often than every 4 weeks can:
Leave you with very little hair to shape
Cause irritation from frequent waxing
Not allow enough new growth between appointments
If you have an event coming up between regular appointments, we offer detail tweezing as a quick option.
Special Schedules
A few situations where your schedule might shift:
Before a big event. Book your wax 3 to 5 days before. This gives any redness time to fade and your shape time to settle.
Before a vacation. Book the week before you leave so you are perfectly polished for photos.
During pregnancy. You can absolutely continue regular waxing. Some clients notice increased sensitivity, so we adjust as needed.
After a major skin treatment. Wait at least a week after peels, microneedling, or laser before waxing.
Building a Consistent Routine
The clients who get the best results are the ones who come consistently. After 3 to 4 appointments, your shape becomes truly customized to your face and your growth patterns. We learn your preferences and you learn what to expect.
Many of our consistent brow clients book back to back appointments while they are checking out. Some take advantage of our Brow Wax Package for built in savings. Others love our memberships for the ultimate convenience.
Pairing With Other Services
Many clients pair their brow wax with other services for an efficient appointment:
Brow wax + cream or hybrid tint. Add color while we shape.
Brow wax + lash lift. Complete eye refresh in one visit.
Brow wax + facial. Combine shaping with skincare. Best to do the facial first.
What If You Are Switching to Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination already includes shaping, so you do not need separate wax appointments. Just rebook your lamination every 4 to 6 weeks. For more on lamination, read our What to Expect at Your First Brow Lamination Appointment post.
